Abstract
This research discussed about identity that emerged from the result of re-reading and reproduction by the fans of visual-kei band, the GazettE, on GAZEROCK SURABAYA Community. Visual-kei is a famous Japanese band style from 1980s. This research used Fandom and Identity theory. The data gathered technique is through interview and observation. Result of this research is to see self-identity and social identity that emerged from the result of re-reading and reproduction by the GAZEROCK SURABAYA Community user. Their Self-identity appeared when they wore visual-kei costume, and when they play the GazettE song with the musical instrument. Their Social Identity appeared when they wore Community TShirt, and whey they together consume the GazettE culture text.
