Abstract

n every country, whether developed countries, developing countries and poor countries, there are always individuals who have certain limitations in terms of everyday common referred to as people with disabilities, including in Indonesia. In order to maintain the rights and obligations of persons with disabilities, the government established a place of rehabilitation for persons with disabilities one of which is the UPT disability social rehabilitation Pasuruan. One of the efforts undertaken by the UPT disability social rehabilitation Pasuruan is to provide job traini ng for disabled body. Therefore this study aims to describe how the implementation of job trai ning in UPT disability social rehabilitation Pasuruan. This study used qualitative methods, with the type of descriptive research. Research was conducted at the UPT disability social rehabilitation Pasuruan. Informants of this study consists of core staff and trai ners training in UPT disability social rehabilitation Pasuruan who are involved in the implementation of training programs for persons with disability, as well as trainees. Total informants in this study as many as thirteen people. Informants selected by the technique of "purposive sampling", ie by interviewing the parties that are considered most understand the formulation of the problems examined. In collecting data, this study uses the approach indepth interviews (depth interviews), observation, and documentation. Technique of data analysis was qua litative, namely through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Analysis conducted by relying on the findings that have been successfully collected data. In this research found that job training is the UPT disability social rehabilitation Pasuruan disability there are still some shortcomings and obstacles so that the training conducted by the UPT disability social rehabilitation Pasuruan is not running optimally.
