Abstract

Mengingat pentingnya peran arsip dalam mendukung aktifitas organisasi, maka perlu dilakukan pengelolaan arsip yang baik dan benar melalui manajemen kearsipan. Salah satu masalah yang dihadapi dalam pengembangan tata kelola arsip adalah meningkatnya penggunaan arsip digital pada organisasi. Untuk mengelola arsip digital tersebut salah satunya menggunakan fasilitas aplikasi berbasis cloud computing. Interface pada aplikasi tersebut menjadi jembatan yang menghubungkan kebutuhan informasi pengguna dengan sumber daya yang ada di organisasi. Salah satu cara mengevaluasi dan merencanakan desain interface dikenal dengan nama uji ketergunaan atau usability testing. Uji ketergunaan atau usability adalah mengukur kemudahan penggunaan, kemudahan dalam mempelajari, efisiensi dan kepuasan. Dasar teori yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah evaluasi heuristik dari Jakob Nielsen yang terkenal dengan ten usability heuristics. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 28 orang pegawai PT. XYZ bagian arsip sebagai responden atau pengguna, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kegunaan (usablity) dari aplikasi Xcloud. Usability apliaksi Xcloud dari hasil analisis peneliti dengan menggunakan metode sepuluh heuristik, hampir tidak ditemui adanya masalah dalam usability. Sebagian besar dari item heurisitik yang sudah ada dalam Xcloud, namun masih ada item yang belum terpenuhi. Berdasarkan perolehan nilai secara keseluruhan dari rata-rata sepuluh heuristik, yakni memiliki jumlah score 2,91 atau memiliki nilai interval 3. Artinya menurut skala Linkert tingkat usability dari aplikasi Xcloud tergolong dalam kategori baik. Jadi pada aplikasi Xcloud sudah usable dari sudut pandang pengguna Xcloud itu sendiri dalam hal ini pegawai dari PT. XYZ. To manage digital archives is one of them take advantage of cloud computingbased applications. Interface on the application becomes the bridge that connects the user's information needs with existing resources in organization. One way to evaluate and plan the design of interfaces known as interoperability testing or usability testing. Interoperability or usability test is to measure the ease of use, ease of learning, efficiency and satisfaction. Basic theory used in this research is the heuristic evaluation of Jakob Nielsen famous with ten usability heuristics. This research was conducted against 28 employees of PT. XYZ as part archive respondents or users, in order to determine the level of usefulness (usablity) of application Xcloud. Usability apliaksi Xcloud of the results of our analysis using heuristic ten, hardly encountered any problems in usability. Most of the items heurisitik already in Xcloud, but still there are items that have not been met. Based on the overall acquisition value of the average ten heuristics, which has a number of scores of 2.91 or has a value of 3. This means that according to the scale interval Linkert level of usability of the application Xcloud classified in either category. So the application Xcloud already usable from a user standpoint Xcloud in this case employees of PT. XYZ.
