Abstract

The program is a mature marriage age BKKBN program in reducing the numbers of early marriage. In East Java early marriage rate is still high, reaching 20.83%. Bondowoso is the highest county rate in East Java, his early marriage which reached 50.17%, then known Pakem, the district is one of the districts in the regency Bondowoso most of the population were married at age below 20 years which is about 78.52%. Therefore, this study investigated the influence of socialization programs mature marriage age for knowledge and attitude of young women in SMPN 1 Pakem. The research was conducted using research methods Experiments For real (true experiment research) with a research design using a pre-test and post-test with control group (Pretest-posttest with the Control Group). Data retrieved by using koesioner level of knowledge and attitudes on 74 respondents, a sample taken by systematic random sampling method. Having done the research and data analysis using SPSS 17:00 by using the Wilcoxon test and Mann-Withney test the level of knowledge known to the treatment group increased to 91.7% and 63.9% achieved a positive attitude. From the data analysis is also unknown if there is a statistically significant difference between treatment groups with the knowledge level of the control group. However, based on analysis of the attitudes of respondents showed that there was no difference in attitude change was statistically significant between treatment groups and controlgroups. It is hoped this research beneficial to all parties who have supported the course of research, and provide input for improvement of socialization maturation age of marriage in the future. Socialization should be done consistently so that they can affect not only knowledge but also attitudes of respondents. For further research the respondents were parents expected young women to be more on target.
