Abstract

Background: In general, A dentist will be faced with the threat of the work on his health. In addition to the risk of the spread of radiation from diagnostic exposures of patients, there are a number of other health risks that need to be given attention. Some of the procedures in the practice of dentistry requires dentists always consider and keep the potential position so there is no musculoskeletal problems. Musculoskeletal health in the dentist have been the subject of much research around the world, and their focus is pain that has been experienced by practitioners. Because of their work area is narrow, dental work done in a very flexible job positions Purpose: To find a picture of a seated position on the South Surabaya dentist health centers when making dental fillings left posterior RA. Method: This research is an observasional and uses descriptive approach. The samples were selected by total sampling. There are 29 dentist are studied in this research. Result: 29 samples doctors, factors that can affect the pain is sitting, age, length of service and sports. but of these factors are the most significant influence is the age that the p-value of 0.017 for neck pain, 0,017 for hand and arm pain and back pain Conclusion: the factors that most influence the pain is age
