Abstract

Background: The complication of the tooth extraction happened by many factors. One of the factor is because of the operator, the operator influenced by two factors which are psychological factor and understanding of the tooth extraction technique by the operator. Anxiety can occur by every single humans without exception, anxiety has it own levels which are light anxiety, medium anxiety, severe anxiety, and panic. And anxiety levels have different effects depending on the levels. These effects can influence the operator acts during the extraction of the tooth. Purpose: For knowing the anxiety influence to extraction tooth and knowing factor that cause the complication during the extraction by operator. Metode: Analitic questioner. Results: From the Chi Square analitic contingention coefisien, it got the value of significances is 0.0001 (pvalue < 0.05). therefore, it can be concluded that there’s a significant relationship and statistically significant between the level of anxiety with tooth extraction error. Conclusion: Anxiety influence the actions of the operator in performing extractions.
