Abstract
Ramus mandible is an angled bony process of the mandible that extends upward and backward from the horseshoe-shaped body and terminates in two processes: the articular condyloid process and the coronoid process. Ramus mandible is an important source of information in forensic indentification. Some of them are for evaluating, analyzing and determining the sex. Part in ramus mandible that relevant for determining the sex is the ramus height of the mandible.We have evaluated the ramus mandible by measuring height of the ramus of adult dry human mandibles of both sexes. The ramus were measured using a calliper.The present study showed a statistically significant difference in height of the ramus between both sexes. The average height of ramus mandibular of men and women we found in our study were 5,6 cm and 5,2 cm
