Abstract

Background. The purpose of this study was to found the sensitivity and specificitY of the new multifactorial caries risk assessment (CRA) model from American Dental Association for children aged 0 to 6 years old Method the author enrolled 26 children aged 3-6 years old student of PAUD Anak Ceria Surabaya and there are mothers or caregivers in the study. The mothers and caregivers are interviewed based on the question in the form caries risk assessment. The author check the tooth and mouth condition of the children based on the form's clinical condition criteria then give the score for it. Result the sensitvity of the new eRA reach 100%, in the other way the specificity is only 25%. The sensitivity of the new form is consideredfill the target level criteria of screening purposes although the specificity is not. The false negative value is 0, and the false positive value is 100%. Conclusion The new CRA from American Dental Association didn't fill the criteria as an indicator models of caries risk assessment for children age 0-6 years old in PAUD Anak Ceria Surabaya.
