Abstract

Lactobacillus acidophilus (L.acidophilus) sebagai bakteri probiotik berperan dalam menghambat pertumbuhan Candida albicans (C. albicans) pada Kandidosis Oral. L.acidophilus menghambat pertumbuhan C.albicans melalui mekanisme imunologis seluler dan humoral. Dengan terhambatnya pertumbuhan C.albicans maka patogenitasnya pun akan terhambat, sehingga dengan demikian Kandidosis Oral dapat dicegah
