Abstract
The aim of this study was to expression estrogen receptor α (ER α) in fracture healing on eight months male sheeps (Ovies aries). 12 sheeps model treatment are reposition of metacarpal sinister fracture with intramedullary pin and slotted plate screw fixation, six sheep for control or without fracture. Treatment had terminated after 30 days post operation and metacarpal bone are analized with immunohistochemestry technic. The data was analyzed with T test using SPSS for windows program. The result of research shows highly significant increase of ER- α in fracture (p < 0,01), which indicates that there is fracture recovery process.
