Abstract

vii TOTAL DRY MATTER INTAKE AND FEED EFFICIENCY OF THREE TYPES CAT FEED PELLETS FOR DOMESTIC CAT ( Fe lis silvestris catus ) Irhamni Bahtiar ABSTRACT The aim of this research was to find out the differences of total dry matter intake and feed efficiency of three types cat feed pellets for domestic cat ( Felis silvestris catus ). Totaly 18 male domestic cats ( Felis silvestris catus ) with average body weight 1,5 to 2 kg, and around 3th to 6th month old. Treatment groups were consisted of three types cat feed pellet formulas C0, C1 and C2. This research used the Completed Randomized Design with three treatments and six repititions. The data were analyzed by Statistical Program for Social Science 13 (SPSS 13) software program according to Anova and Duncan’s Multiple Eange Test. The result of this research showed that the three types cat feed pellet formulas are significant difference (p<0.05) on dry matter intake and feed efficiency.
