Abstract

The purposed of this research were to know infection level prevalence, and type of worm on digestive tract of Rusa Timor in Rusa Timorensis captivities Sumberingin village Kabupaten Blitar and Batu Secret Zoo. Samples of faeces were taken randomly. All the faeces sampels determind by natif, sedimentation and floating methods. Total of faeces samples were 67, 59 samples in captivities Sumberingin village Kabupaten Blitar and 8 samples in Batu Secret Zoo. The average of infection level digestive tract of rusa in captivities Sumberingin village Kabupaten Blitar is 35.14 and Batu Secret Zoo is 25.56. The result of the prevalence and infection level are still be able low infection. The result indicate that helminthiasis prevalence were 54.2 % in Rusa Timorensis captivities Sumberingin village Kabupaten Blitar and 25% fin Batu Secret Zoo. The types of worm from Nematode class, they are Oesophagustomum sp., Trichostrongylus sp., and Capillaria sp.
