Abstract
The aims of this research to knew the effectiveness of didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride as disinfectant to decrease total number of bacteria on duck cages. This research used 6 samples of duck cages swab results before spraying disinfectants and 18 samples duck cages swab results after spraying with different dosage. The research used TPC (Total Plate Count) method with the standard dropping pippetes. The parameter was the total number of colonies that growth on the nutrient agar being calculated as total number of bacteria. The result showed that didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride effective decreased bacteria on the dosage 0,8%.
