Abstract

The duck is one of the poultry that has potential as a source of animal protein producers. The management of the farm is still traditional cause the result of duck production are still far from expectations, therefore requaired new technologies in development. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the laserpunctur firing to weight and the percentage of the male madura duck carcass. The material used in this study are 20 male madura duck. The ingredients for the constituent bran and feed rations is 511. The design in this research uses Complete Random Design. There are two groups of treatment and 10 repitition in this research with the group 1 as a control while the group 2 is given laserpunktur treatment. Firing laserpunktur with energi equal to Joules carried out on the growth of gastric point, i.e., the point of the heart and the lungs, which each of them are carried out on the dexter and sinister of the growth point and one point of immune system, firing the body aimed at improving the capacity of the production activity of the organs and cells optimally. The result showed that the duck with laserpunktur treatment significantly increase (p <0,05) the weight of male madura duck. The percentage of duck carcass with laserpunktur treatment significantly higher (p<0,05) than duck without laserpunktur treatment (control).
