Abstract
The present study was conducted to elucidate the effect of endosulfan administration on the histopathological changes in kidney mice (Mus musculus). Twenty male mice with 20 gram bodyweight were divided into 4 groups, i.e p0, p1, p2 and p3 and after 7 days of adaptation peiod were administered orally as a single dose : 0 mg, 6.25 mg, 12.5 mg and 25 mg/kg bodyweight, respectively. Two days after the treatment, they were sacrificed and their kidneys were harvested for microscopic examination. The design of this study was Completely Randomized Design (CRD). No Pathological changes were found in p0, while in other groups (p1, p2 and p3) necrosis and degeneration were obvious pathological findings. The higher dose of endosulfan were administered, the more severe were the changes.
