Abstract
This research was conducted to determine the anthelmintic effect of peel a pomegranate fruit extract ethanol against Fasciola sp. worm in vitro. It also aims to reveal the interaction between time and treatment, by using 240 samples of Fasciola sp. without differentiating their sex. Dose of peel a pomegranate fruit extract of ethanol for immersing the Fasciola sp. were 10 mg/ml, 20 mg/ml, 40 mg/ml, and 80 mg/ml. Negative control was used PBS. Positive control was used Piperazine citrate 10 mg/ml. Observation death Fasciola sp. worm and analysis of the data each every a half hour at the 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, 120 minutes, 150 minutes, 180 minutes, 210 minutes, and 240 minutes using Factorial ANOVA test and Duncan Range Test. Factorial ANOVA result showed significant differences between treatments (p<0.05). The result showed that the best time to cause of the deaths of those worms occurred at minute 240 and the best dose occurred in the treatment of pomegranate peel extract of 80 mg/ml (W240*P5).
