Abstract
The aim of this study was to explore potency oat (Avena sativa) as feed additive for male broiler. The measured parameters was the blood cholesterol content. The experiment animals were twenty four male DOC, devided into three treatments. Three different food mixtures were, P0 was BR1® 100% + oat (Avena sativa) 0%; P1 was BR1® 100% + oat (Avena sativa)5%; P2 was BR1® 100% + oat (Avena sativa) 10%. Experimental design was used completely randomized design with three treatments and eight replications. The data were analyzed using the Analysis of Variance Statistic Method and if there were differences among the treatments, The Duncan’s Multiple Range Test was used. The conclusion showed that the effect of oat (Avena sativa) as feed additive for male broiler was not decrease to blood cholesterol content
