Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the influence of complete feed toward the content of milk lauric acid of Friesian Holstein crossbreed cow. The research was conducted on ten female Friesian Holstein crossbreed cow in four until seven years old in two until six months lactation period. Research design was completely randomized design with five different treatments, they are: P0, P1, P2, P3, and P4 with twice repetitions. P0 is complete feed which like forage and tofu waste. Whereas P1, P2, P3, and P4 are complete feed with different additional formulas. Feed treatment and sample taking had been done during one week. Then the milk lauric acid sample was tested its level by HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) method. The data was analyzed by Analysis of Variant (Anova) method and for different mean between the treatments was tested by Duncan Multiple range test. The software that used to analyze the data is Windows Statistical Program of Social Science 16 (SPSS 16). The result showed that has not different mean between the treatmants.
