Abstract

HY-antigen is the first plasma membrane that plays a role in the process of organogenesis. The functions of HY antigen are to stimulate immune response of T lymphocytes and the developing of genital ridge into testes. This research was aimed to determine differences in sex ratio of mice which had been injected by HY-antigen. The first treatment (P1) was the HY-antigen that was derived from the mice testes homogenate and the second treatment (P2) was the HY-antigen that was derived from mice spleen homogenate. The data was analyzed by independent T test and the result showed that there was no significant difference between the two treatments (P>0,05). Those two treatments were able to skew the sex ratio towards males.
