Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the prevalence of mite by layer in the Srengat Subdistrict Blitar District. The research has been done on October to December 2012. The study collected 190 samples and by using permanent mounting with staining. A total of 190 observed samples were obtained Dubininia melopsiitaci (23.2%) and Dermanyssus gallinae (5.8%). The data were tabulated with the formula prevalence. Based on this study could be concluded that Dubininia melopsiitaci and Dermanysus gallinae was major infestation of mite in the Srengat Subsdistrict, Blitar District.
