Abstract
This research was aimed to know the integrity differences Merino sheep spermatozoa stored inside two diluents : egg yolk skim (P1) and egg yolk tris (P2). This experiment used Merino sheep fresh semen which has been divided into egg yolk tris and egg yolk tris, the examination of post thawing spermatozoa integrity by hypo-osmotic swelling test. The data is being analyzed by using ANOVA test then followed by BNJ ( honestly significant difference ). The result showed that there is no significant differences between those treatments (P1 & P2). It is concluded that the use of egg yolk skim and egg yolk tris can be used as an option to determine the precise diluent frozen semen making process and artificial insemination because both of them could maintain Merino sheep spermatozoa well.
