Abstract

This research aims to prove that banana peel flour supplemented the diet can lower cortisol levels and increase the percentage of broiler chicken carcasses were exposed to heat stress. male broiler chickens were used 25 of male chicken were grouped into 5 treatment. P1 (combination of heat stress and antibiotic), P2 (heat stress), P3 (combination of heat stress and 5% of banana peel flour), P4 (combination of heat stress and 7% of banana peel flour) dan P5 (combination of heat stress and 10% of banana peel flour). Based on the analysis results Annova, it can be concluded, that the banana peel flour supplementation on feed delivers optimal results on the fifth treatment (P5) on the provision of as much as 10% flour banana skin, proven to reduce levels of serum cortisol broiler heat stress exposed and proven increase the percentage of broiler chicken carcasses were exposed to heat stress.
