Abstract

The aims of this research was to determine the influence of biofermentor on digestibility of crude protein and dry matter on quail. 24 quails with 12 weeks of age were placed in experimental cage and divided into four groups (n=6) of treatment, P0; P1; P2; and P3 were added with 0%; 0,25%; 0,5%; 0,75% biofermentor respectively. Data was collected within seven days at the end of study (week seventh) by calculate amount of total feed consumption and total feces, then analyzed the crude protein and dry matter by proximate analysis of feed and feces. Data were processed using Analysis of Variant (ANOVA) and followed by Duncan’s multiple range test with 5% significancy. The results showed that the addition of biofermentor in feed was not significantly different (p>0.05) so it can not improve the digestibility of crude protein in quail. As for the digestibility of dry mater is also not significantly different (p>0.05) so it can not improve the digestibility of dry matter in quail.
