Abstract

Chronic Respiratory Disease is a disease that caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum. CRD has characteristic as immunodepresive so there is a possibility that these disease can follow by other secondary infection one of them is Colibacillosis and continued be CRD complex with special clinical symptom like perihepatitis. Colibacillosis caused by pathogen bacteria Escherichia coli. The aim of this research is to know prevalency of Escherichia coli as secondary infection in Chronic Respiratory Disease Complex broiler chicken at UD. Harapan Jaya slaughter house Madiun City on September until Oktober 2013. Sample that used in this research are whole blood and liver of chicken. CRD detected by RPAT test used whole blood while Colibacillosis detected by Isolation and Identification of E. coli used liver. The result of this research showed that there are prevalency E. coli 50 % with 15 positive samples of Colibacillosis from 30 sample positive of CRD.
