Abstract
The purpose of this research was to examine the quality of sheep’s sperm are diluted with egg yolk citrate and soybeans diluters. The sperm was diluted with the following diluter treatment: P0 as egg yolk citrate diluter, P1 as soybeans diluter 200% (200g+100ml aquadest), P2 as soybeans diluter 100% (100g+100ml aquadest), and P3 as soybeans diluter 66,67% (66,67g+100ml aquadest). The results obtained are analyzed by ANOVA (Multiple Analysis of Varian). The results showed the motility of the soybeans diluter is not give significantly different with egg yolk citrate diluter. While the plasma membrane of the soybeans is not significantly different with egg yolk citrate diluter. The best plasma membrane integrity of the soybeans is showed by P2 (51,54 ± 7,761). The result of this study concluded that egg yolk citrate and soybeans diluters have the same effect on motility and plasma membrane integrity of sheep’s sperm and there are positive correlations between motility and membrane plasma integrity of sheep’s sperm on third days.
