Abstract

In the poultry sector, native chicken including into sector 3 and sector 4. Purpose of this study was to determine the native chicken antibodies that are sold in the Market Dukuh Kupang Surabaya against ND. This study use non-experimental research design that type of descriptive survey. Detection ND antibody is examined by using the HI test. Stages of research activities include: taking samples of blood serum native chicken slaughtered in the Market Dukuh Kupang Surabaya of 100 sampels. Using simple random sampling. The serum is separated from the blood clot, serum was transferred into the mikrotube. Before performing HI test, sampel must be inactivation in water bath temperature 56º C for 30 minutes with destination inactivated autohemolisin present in serum. Do titration 4HA units to be used as an antigen in HI test. Analysis presented in the form of descriptive data by calculating the percentage of antibody ND native chicken. Result of study 99% of samples contained detectable antibodies ND, with antibody titers ≥ (45%) and antibody titers < (54%).
