Abstract

The influence of probiotics to increase milk fat and lactose of dairy cattle. Probiotics used in this research were “Isolat Probiotik Ruminant” that produced by PT. Agritech Indonesia.. Probiotics used in this research were “Isolat Probiotik Ruminant” that produced by PT. Agritech Indonesia. It was containing Lactobacillus acidophilus, Aspergillus orizae, Saccharomices cerevisiae, Bacillus subtilis, Candida pintolopesii, and bioactivator of microorganisms. Ten cows aged 6-8 years that were having four to five times for calving rate with the lactation periode on the fifth untill sixth month were used in this research. The probiotics with 10 ml/head/day of dosage were given for 30 days. The result showed that the probiotics increased 4.01 % of milk fat on 10th-12th day and 6.61 % of milk fat on 28th - 30th day, 1.81 % of milk lactose on 10th -12th day and 6.66 % of milk lactose on 28th -30th day. Based on this result, the probiotics were recommended as feed supplement for dairy cattle to increase fat and lactose of milk.
