Abstract

The aim of this observation was to know Service per Conception, Conception Rate, and Calving Rate artificial insemination on beef cattle in Blitar District Period of January-December 2010, and whether any difference of reproduction in north and south region. To determine a value of reproduction eficiency by artificial insemination, the first thing to do is collecting data on number of the inseminated cattle, number of pregnancy, and the number of calving, Then the data obtained was tabulated and supported by statistical analysis. The observation showed that the highest value of service per conception is 1,3 then the highest value from conception rate is 87,34%, Last, the highest value from calving rate is 87,47%, there was a significant differences in the reproductive indices between conception rate and calving rate in two regions, then about a value of reproduction eficiency in the North and South Region be found differences however these two fertilities indices were good therefore their reproduction efficiency also good. Based on data, the value was classifield as good.
