Abstract

The study aim was to diagnose brucellosis in swine using Rose Bengal Test (RBT) method. Samples used in this study were the blood serum of swine from farm district Kebak Kramat Karanganyar. Serum samples were tested by RBT method using RBT antigen commercially made by PUSVETMA. Serum sample was mixed with RBT antigen. Mix the solution by rotating it clockwise and then anti-clockwise rection. The result showed that from 18 samples tested, 7 samples positive, 3 samples dubious and 8 samples negative ; that indicated the incidence rate of brucellosis disease was 38,8%.
