Abstract

This research was aimed to know the effect of meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn) symplisia on the broiler performance infected by Eimeria tenella. A Complete Random Design was used in this experimental study. The research used twenty eight broilers were divided into 4 groups which were control group (A), positive control group (B), meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn) symplisia treated before Eimeria tenella infection group (C) and the last group (D) was simultaneously with the infection of Eimeria tenella. Collected data were feed consumption, weight gain and feed convertion rate. To those data were analyzed using Analysis of Variant (ANOVA) with 5% of Least Significant Difference (LSD). The results showed significantly differences (P<0.05) between positive control group (B) with meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn) symplisia tread group (group C and D), that means meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn) symplisia could improve feed consumption, weight gain and feed convertion rate.
