Abstract
These aims of this research were to identify prevalence and infection type of worm on pig digestive tract in Segaran Village, District of Wates, Kediri Regency. Ninety feces samples from 3 weeks- to 3-months, four to six-months, and more than seven-months olds of pigs, and from age groups were collected 30 samples. The technique used native, sedimentation and floating methods. The result showed that prevalence of digestive tract worm infection on pig was 46.7%. The type of worm was identified as Ascaris suum (26.7%), Trichuris suis (12.2%), and mix infection among Ascaris suum and Trichuris suis (7.8%). The analysed to descrip prevalence of each worm with Chi square showed that age factor had significantly effect (P<0.01) on digestive tract worm infection prevalence.
