Abstract

Permot leaf has many benefit as a herbal medicine. Bioinsecticde is one of its utility. Since Permot leaf has some active component, saponin, flavanoid, alkaloid, so that Permot leaf has bioinsecticide ability. The purpose of this experiment is understanding bioinsecticide ability of Permot leaf ethanol extract which gain from the corelation between concentration and the rate of mosquitoes mortality in 10 minutes after spraying. 480 samples of Aedes aegpyti mosquitoes are used in this experiment. Divided in to six groups of experiment, which is one cc transflurin (control), 0.1 % PEG (control), 500 ppm, 1000 ppm, 1500 ppm, 2000 ppm. Each box experiment was spraying one cc Permot leaf ethanol extract solution, contained twenty mosquitoes and replicated four times. The result of experiment the mortalities in 10 minutes after spraying of bioinsecticide. From the One-Way ANOVA test, resulted p value 0,000. From Linier Regression test, resulted A Constant value = 7,940, B extract concentrate (%) value = 0,025 and regression formula is Y= 7,940 + 0,025X. The conclusion ofthe study that Permot leaf ethanol extract have bioinsecticide ability to Aedes aegypti and resulted LCso is 1682,4 ppm concentrate.
