Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the supplementation effect of probiotic, which contain Lactobacillus sp. and Saccaromyces cerevisiae, to broiler's weight gain. Twenty broilers, 21 days old, were randomly divided into 4 experimental groups, P0: controls, P1: broilers with drink supplemented by probiotic dosage 2 cc/liter, P2: broilers with drink supplemented by probiotic dosage 3 cc/liter, and P3: broilers with drink supplemented by probiotic dosage 4 cc /liter. Broilers were weighed at the end of treatment, 35 days,. The value then were tabulated and analyzed by F test (α = 0.5%) continued with Honestly Significant Different Test (HSD 0.5%) to confirmed any influence between treatment. The result showed that the supplementation of probiotic which contain Lactobacillus sp. and Saccaromyces cerevisiae within broiler’s drink has highly significant effect (p<0.1) to the broiler’s weight gain.
