Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of spraying disinfectant didecil dimethyl ammonium chloride on levels of blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and serum creatinine in hybrid ducks. Materials research using hybrid duck blood serum taken from the brachial vein in 4 treatments. The first treatment (P0) is a control with no treatment, the second treatment (P1) hybrid duck sprayed disinfectant doses 0.004%, the third treatment (P2) hybrid duck sprayed disinfectant doses 0.006%, the fourth treatment (P3) hybrid duck sprayed disinfectant doses 0,008 %. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD). Analysis of the data analysis using Variant (ANOVA) One Way then proceed to Duncan to find out the real difference between treatments. Results showed no significant differences in levels of blood urea nitrogen in all treatments, but the results of serum creatinine showed significant differences between the first treatment (P0) with the second treatment (P1), and significant differences for both treatment (P1) with the third treatment (P2), but between the first treatment (P0), third (P2), and fourth (P3) showed no significant differences.
