Abstract
The aim this study was to know the level damaged of gills Clarias gariepinus were infected by Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria. Twenty of Clarias gariepinus with average weight of 100 gram and approximately length of 15 cm were randomly devided into four groups of treatment (P0, P1, P2, and P3). Five repetition each those are given with the dosage of Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria P0 (control,without treatment), P1: 3x105 CFU/ml, P2: 3x106 CFU/ml, P3 3x107 CFU/ml. Histopathological observed was secondary lamella are experiencing hyperplasia and fusion of secondary lamella were analyzed by Kruskal wallis test indicates that there are significant differences (p<0,05) among treatment, the further test result by using Mann – Whitney. Result showed change in gills hystopathology of Clarias gariepinus. The most severe damage was occurred on dosage with 107 sel/ml (P3). It cause valued. 2,44 ± 0,61.
