Abstract

Dairy cow’s is one of an animal which produce milk. It capable to supply the high necessary of milk in Indonesia. Many factor can influence the quality of milk. Age, weight, parity, and month of lactation is an important part to decided the quality of milk. The research aimed to study the correlation of age, weight, parity, and month of lactation toward dairy cow’s milk quality of Friesian Holstein crossbreed based of milk volume, absolute specific gravity, fat, total solid, and solid non fat. Thirty four dairy cow’s whose have parity I until VIII were used as sample of this research. Milk collection was done in the morning. During the fourteen days of study, dairy cow’s was given the same feed. Data have been collected and analyzed using multiple regression analysis with SPSS software. The result showed that month of lactation have a correlation with volume of milk in determining the milk quality of dairy cow’s. Age, weight, and parity have no showed a correlation, but they was give indirect influence to quality of milk.
