Abstract

These research was aimed to know the effect of giving probiotics and chlorella in crude fiber digestibility and total lipid in egg. These research used 28 layer chickens strain Lohman at age 16 weeks. The weight is approximately 1,4 kg. the chickens then dividsed into 4 groups. The first group (P0) was given consentrate (basal protein) without probiotics-chlorella supplementation, second group (P1) was given low protein food without probiotics supplementation, third group (P2) was given low protein food with probiotics supplementation and the fourth group (P3) was given low protein food with probiotics-chorella supplementation. Each group consist of 8 chickens. The examination of feces sample for crude fiber digestibility and egg sample for total fat examination was consigned at last week of research. The research showed significantly difference (p ≤ 0,05) which P1 has lowest digestibility than P0, P2, and P3 which P0, P2 and P3 not significantly different. The result of egg total lipid is not significantly different between each group.
