Abstract

The purpose of this research was to measure effectivity probiotic for inhibit and decreasing amount of IgE and increasing amount of IgG2a.. 18 male mice age 12-14 weeks was divided into three groups. Each group filled with 6 mice. Group A was given ovalbumin and probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG), group B was given ovalbumin and probiotic Lactobacillus plantarum IS-10506 (LIS), group C was given ovalbumin only. The serum of sample were determined by using ELISA reader at 405 nm. Data were analyzed by MANOVA (Multi Analysis of variant), if there were any differences, the analyzes will be continued with Duncan test. The result from this research showed the effectivity differences of probiotic. In decreasing amount of IgE, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG) had Optical Density (OD) that not significant (P>0,05) with Lactobacillus plantarum IS-10506 (LIS) and significant (P<0,05) with placebo. At increasing amount of IgG2a, Lactobacillus plantarum IS-10506 (LIS) had Optical Density (OD) that significant (P<0,05) with Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG) and placebo.
