Abstract

The objective of this research was to know the influence of the yoghurt on Broiler chicken performance and to know the best dose that can improve performance of Broiler chickens. In this study used 28 ekor DOC Cobb strain B 500. The experiment was used Complete Random Design with 4 treatments. Yoghurt was given by using spuit 1 ml per oral in 28 days. For the control group (P0) was not given yoghurt, the first treatment (P1) was given yoghurt 0.1% of the needs of feed each day, the second treatment (P2) given yoghurt 0,3% of the needs of feed each day and the third treatment (P3) was given yoghurt 0.5 % of the needs of feed each day. Results of research indicated that the effect of yoghurt on performance of Broiler chicken that have criteria of body weight, chest circumference long, long bones (tarsometatarso os), and the percentage of carcass that have been analyzed showed no significant differences between treatments (p> 0.05) and there was no dose of the best dose yoghurt with 0.1%, 0.3% and 0.5% of the feed needs.
