Abstract
This study is conducted to reveal the effect of yoghurt administration to the histological appearance of the peyer’s patch in the ileum of broiler (chicken). Twenty eight broiler chickens of a week old are devided into four groups and given yoghurt orally (using feeding tube) for consecutive 28 days with 0% (P0), 0,1% (P1), 0,3% (P2) and 0,5% (P3) concentrations respectively. Then all of them were sacrificed and the ileum harvested for histological examination. The result of follicle diameter and sum of lymphoid cells measurements show a significantly increase in P1, P2 and P3 comparing with P0
