Abstract

This research has been done to know changing microscopic heart’s muscle and pulmo’s cell of mice through toxicity acute test by using alkaloid of Achyrantes aspera Linn’s leaf. 20 mice aged one and half month weighted ± 20 grams, devided into researches 24 hours, both devided into four treatment and five replicates. P1 as control per oral, P2 as treatment per oral, P1 as control intra peritoneal, P2 as treatment intra peritoneal. Measurement of the heart and pulmo change were considered insignificantly different at P>0.05. The result showed that Achyranthes aspera Linn’s leaf alkaloid fraction 100mg/kg body weight caused a haemorrhage, congestion and degeneration insignificant case.
