Abstract

Rumah sakit merupakan pusat pelayanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat mulai dari diagnosa, pengobatan, perawatan sampai rehabilitasi, tentu saja akan menghasilkan bahan- bahan buangan yang berupa padat, cair, dan gas. Disamping sebagai pusat pelayanan kesehatan, juga merupakan tempat berkumpulnya orang sakit dan orang sehat. Pengelolaan limbah rumah sakit adalah bagian dari kegiatan penyehatan lingkungan di rumah sakit yang bertujuan untuk melindungi masyarakat dari bahaya pencemaran lingkungan yang bersumber dari limbah medis padat rumah sakit. Unsur-unsur yang terkait dengan penyelenggaraan kegiatan pelayanan rumah sakit termasuk pengelolaan limbahnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian terhadap pelaksanaan pengelolaan limbah medis padat di RSUD Dr. M. Haulussy Ambon dengan membandingkan standar pengelolaan limbah medis padat menurut Kepmenkes RI No. 1204/MENKES/SK/X/2004 Tentang Persyaratan Kesehatan Lingkungan Rumah Sakit. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional. Sasaran penelitian adalah pengelola limbah medis padat dan pengelolaan limbah medis padat mulai dari tahap minimisasi, pemilahan, pewadahan, pengumpulan, pengangkutan , pengolahan dan pemusnahan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat beberapa kekurangan dalam pengelolaan limbah medis padat di RSUD Dr. M. Haulussy Ambon yang belum sesuai dengan Kepmenkes RI No. 1204/MENKES/SK/X/2004 tentang Persyaratan Kesehatan Lingkungan Rumah Sakit, seperti cleaning service tidak memakia topi atau helm, sepatu booth dan kaca mata pada waktu bekerja. Disamping itu kantong plastik yang digunakan warna hitam, pengangkutan limbah medis tidak menggunakan troli khusus dan belum dilakukannya pelatihan/seminar khusus tentang pengelolaan limbah medis padat. Saran bagi RSUD Dr. M. Haulussy Ambon yaitu perlu memperbaiki sarana penunjang pengelolaan limbah medis padat, diantaranya pengadaan kantong plastik sesuai kategori, warna kontainer atau kantong plastik dan logo, troli khusus untuk pengangkutan limbah medis padat, memakai alat pelindung diri (APD) secara lengkap pada waktu bekerja, melakukan pelatihan/ seminar khusus tentang pengelolaan limbah medis padat, melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan secara berkala kepada petugas pengelola limbah medis padat. Management of hospital waste is part of environmental sanitation activities in the hospital that aims to protect the public from the dangers of environmental pollution originating from hospital solid medical waste. This study aims to conduct a study on the implementation of solid medical waste management at Dr. M. Haulussy Ambon by comparing the solid medical waste management standards according to Decree No. Kepmenkes. 1204/MENKES/SK/X/2004 About Environmental Health Requirements Hospital. The research method used was observational. Research target is the management of solid medical waste and medical waste management solid start from the minimization stage, sorting, waste storage, collection, transportation, processing and destruction. The conclusion of this research is there are some deficiencies in the management of solid medical waste at Dr. M. Haulussy Ambon is not in accordance with Decree No. Kepmenkes. 1204/MENKES/SK/X/2004 of Environmental Health Requirements for Hospitals, like the cleaning service does not memakia hat or helmet, shoes and glasses booth at the time worked. Besides, plastic bags used black color, the transport of medical waste does not use special trolleys and yet the training / special seminar on the management of solid medical waste. Suggestions for Dr. M. Haulussy Ambon is necessary to improve medical support facilities for solid waste management, including procurement of plastic bags according to category, color containers or plastic bags and logos, special trolley for transportation of solid medical waste, wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in full at time of work, conducting training / special seminar on the management of solid medical waste, perform health checks periodically to the medical officer of solid waste managemen
