Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan konsentrasi urin wanita hamil terhadap peningkatan jumlah neonate Daphnia spp. dan mengetahui konsentrasi optimal urin wanita hamil yang menghasilkan peningkatan maksimal jumlah neonate Daphnia spp. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Analisa data menggunakan Analisa Varian (ANOVA), kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjutan jarak berganda Duncan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan Analisa Varian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan urin wanita hamil dalam media kultur Daphnia spp. memberikan pengaruh yang nyata (p<0,05) terhadap rata-rata neonate Daphnia spp. Konsentrasi 0,2 % menghasilkan rata-rata neonate Daphnia spp. tertinggi sebesar 5 neonate/indukan, sedangkan pada konsentrasi 0,5 % menghasilkan rata-rata neonate Daphnia spp. terendah sebesar 2 neonate/indukan. Kualitas air selama penelitian berada pada kondisi yang menunjang kehidupan Daphnia spp., yaitu: suhu 29-310C, oksigen terlarut 4,4-5,4 ppm, pH 7-8 dan amonia 0,003-0,05 ppm. Translation: The purpose of this experiment was to determine the effect of the concentration of pregnant women urine to the number of neonate Daphnia spp. and the optimal concentration of pregnant women urine to the maximum elevated number of neonate Daphnia spp. Experiment method was arrange by using Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The data obtained were statistical analyze using analysis of variants (ANOVA) and then followed by advanced Duncan's multiple range test. Result of this research shown that addition of pregnant women urine in the culture medium Daphnia spp. have significant effect (p<0.05) on average of neonate Daphnia spp. On the concentration 0,2 % gave the highest average production of 5 neonate/broodstock while 0,5 % gave the lowest average production of 2 neonate/broodstock.
