Abstract

The decubitus on the heel of foot area was impact used traction skeletal in patients with musculoskeletal injuries, because the position of the old elevation and pressure make poor vascular circulation flow, one hopes is business used of heel ring can reduce the pressure and the static prisoners. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the heel ring on the incidence of decubitus in patients with sceleton traction installed in the Ruang Rawat Inap Bedah Flamboyan Instalasi Rawat Inap Bedah on RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. The design of this study is pre experimental with one group pra-post test design technique, the population of patients with sceleton traction installed of bohler braun frame, the number of samples 14 patients who met the study inclusion criteria, independent variable is heel ring and dependent variable is incidence of decubitus, data collecting by observation sheet of incidence of decubitus and data analysis with wilcoxon match paired test by < 0,05 sygnificancy. The result of this study was almost half (35,71%) is incidence of decubitus level 1 before use of heel ring, is the solid (100%) nothing is incidence of decubitus after use heel ring, there is the efect of the use heel ring on the incidence of decubitus sygnificance. The concluded is the heel ring can be prevent of decubitus used the heel of foot in patients traction sceleton The result is study can be reference of standard operating procedure especialistly for serviced the patients traction sceleton
