Abstract
Football is the most popular sport in Indonesia. Many people in Indonesia are very fanatic about football. Each team in Indonesian League always has fanatic fan base, including Persik Kediri (a local football team from Kediri area). It is one of the contestants participating in Indonesian League that has two different fan bases, Persikmania and CyberXtreme. Both fan bases have extremely devoted supporters, especially CyberXtreme. In Kediri, Ultras CyberXtreme has grown not only as a fanatic fan base with Ultras Ideology and a huge number of members, but a new lifestyle for local people with their consumption of many official stuffs of Ultras CyberXtreme. The qualitative method and in-depth interview with the founder and members of Ultras CyberXtreme were the primary data in this study. There were fiftteen questions asked in the interview, and the questions were separated into three major parts. The first part aimed at revealing the structure of the perception of Ultras CyberXtreme and Ultras CyberXtreme‘s rules. The second part consisting questions number six until ten is the questions about Lifestyles and Tastes. Lifestyles are generated from Habitus; then, Tastes shape Lifestyles that distinguish a certain group from others. The third part (questions number eleven until fifteen) explores Ultras CyberXtreme identity. Finally, this study found that the identity of Ultras CyberXtreme as a football fan base in terms of what it wants to be known as. Consumption practices included their lifestyles and tastes of the members are who builds their identity.
