Abstract
Latar belakang: Meningkatnya angka kematian dan meningkatkan biaya kesehatan menjadi masalah global infeksi methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) sehingga perlu penanganan serius baik di masyarakat dan di rumah sakit. Risiko prevalensi strain HA-MRSA pembawa PVL - positif adalah masalah serius yang dapat mengakibatkan munculnya multidrug - resistant HA - MRSA isolat dengan peningkatan virulensi. Tujuan: mempelajari pola sebaran HA-MRSA pembawa gen penyandi Panton- Valentine leukocidin (PVL) yang diisolasi dari pasien karier di RSUD Dr. Soetomo. Metode: penelitian analitik korelasi observasional dengan desain penelitian cross sectional study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua isolat MRSA dengan gen MecA positif yang diambil dari pasien karier di bangsal bedah dan bangsal interna. Hasil: HA-MRSA yang mengandung Gen penyandi PVL sebanyak 7 (12,5%) isolat. Bangsal bedah didapatkan 5 (8,9%) dan di bangsal penyakit dalam 2 (3,6%) isolat. Hasil uji statistik (Fisher Exact test), didapatkan nilai p =0,310, nilai POR=0,452; nilai minimal IK 95% sebesar 0,080. Pada saat MRS didapatkan 3 (5,4%) isolat didapatkan dan pada saat KRS 4 (7,1%) isolate. Hasil uji statistik (Fisher Exact test), didapatkan nilai p =0,623 nilai POR=0,290 Nilai minimal IK 95% sebesar 0,186. Kesimpulan: HA-MRSA pembawa gen penyandi PVL menyebar merata di bangsal penyakit dalam maupun bangsal bedah. HA-MRSA pembawa gen penyandi PVL menyebar merata pada saat MRS maupun KRS.
