Abstract

Penuaan adalah kemunduran kesanggupan organisme untuk beradaptasi terhadap perubahan lingkungan, merupakan proses fisiologis yang akan terjadi pada semua makhluk hidup yang meliputi semua organ tubuh termasuk kulit. Faktor yang mempengaruhi proses penuaan adalah faktor intrinsik dan faktor ekstrinsik. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh terapi pada titik akupunktur Hegu (LI 4), Zusanli (ST 36), Qu Chi (LI 11) dan Ashi point menggunakan AES-04 (Acupuncture Electro Stimulator) dengan elektrode magnetik berkekuatan 80mT dengan frekuensi 10,7 kHz terhadap tingkat keriput di wajah pada ibu rumah tangga berusia 45tahun-50 tahun (premenopause). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terapi pada titik akupunktur Hegu (LI 4), Zusanli (ST 36), Qu Chi (LI 11) dan Ashi point menggunakan AES-04 (Acupuncture Electro Stimulator) dengan elektrode magnetik berkekuatan 80mT dengan frekuensi 10,7 kHz yang dilakukan sebanyak sepuluh kali terapi memberikan penurunan yang sangat signifikan (p = 0,00).
