Abstract
Livestock PT X Kediri city branch was engaged in modern cattle fattening, they bought a cow from a local farmers and importers. The cows will be fattened for four (4) months, in the fattening process PT X would give portions of food that can make the body of the cow has a great body with little fat. The purpose of this study was to perform risk management on farm workers PT X branch Kediri. This research was an observational research that conducted using cross sectional design and descriptive analysis. The data used are primary data from interviews and observation, secondary data are from companies. The results showed that the hazard identification based on 8 jobs on farms PT X branch Kediri found 49 hazards. Based on the risk assessment conducted on the 49 pure risk there are 36 low risk, 10 medium risk and high risk 3. Risk management is carried out by administrative controls and the use of personal protective equipment. The conclusion of this study is from 8 work there are 49 hazard, high risk owned by the danger of environmental pollution and kicked by cow on the job of cleaning the cage, while other high risk was the danger of kicked by cow on the cage maintenance work. Controlling risk by PT X was still lacking in some aspects (attention to the quality of personal protective equipment, personal protective equipment workers completeness, and control of cow manure), and there are 17 potential hazards that need improvement.
