Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze about how the Indonesian Muslimah Workers (TKMI) get their income and use it Islamically and also how they reach the welfare. The study tried to get the view about the implementation of QS Al-Jumuah verse 10, QS Al-Baqarah verse 195 and QS Al-Baqarah verse 201. The object of this research is TKMI in the Middle East Countries who was back into their hometown at the West Lombok Regency. The push factors for TKMI in the Middle East Countries is the difficulty in finding job at their hometown and also their will to help the economical condition of family and to complete their religious activity (the implementation of the fifth Islamic rule). While the pull factors of this case is the job’s opportunity which has a relatively high payment if compared with the payment of the similar job on their hometown. Revenstain’s gravitation theory that explained woman inclined having some migration in the near distance was unproven. The study shows that TKMI passing through long distance across the countries. Based on the analysis of qualitative and intuitive analysis, TKMI --in their efforts to get the welfare-- should managed their income Islamically for material and spiritual fulfillment and also managed the transfer. The difference of successment between TKMI caused by the money which has been sent to the hometown doesn’t managed well and its not appropriate with the message from QS al-Baqarah verse 195 and QS al- Baqarah verse 201. The succed in reaching the welfare can decreased the will of TKMI for go back to the Middle East. In other side the unsucced of TKMI feel need to go back to the Middle East for continue their job. The result of this study hopely can gives the contribution for Islamic economics development and also to government policies in Lombok Barat regency. The local government can founded and managed TKMI being more productive in their incomes expenditure and household financial management, through giving the training of entrepreneurship and another policy by giving soft loan capital and create job opportunity so they don’t need to leave their hometown for an international migration.
