Abstract
The objectives of this study are to analyze the effect of Islamic Implementation Leadership to the Islamic Work Ethics, the effect of Islamic Leadership to the Employee Commitment, the effect of Financial Compensation to the Islamic Work Ethic, the effect of Financial Compensation to the Employee Commitment, the effect of Islamic Works Ethic to the Employee Commitment, the effect of Islamic Work Ethic to the Employee Performance, the effect of Employee Commitment to the Employee Performance in business unit managed by pesantren. There were three approaches apply to this study, comprising : quantitative (syar’i), qualitative (syar’i) and intuitive (kasyf) approaches. The quantitative approced was adopted to analyze relationships among variables the relationship between variables. The adopted statistical analysis technique was Structural Equations Model (SEM). The population involved in the study comprised the employee of business unbit that managed by pesantren in East Java. There were 4 (four) latent variables adopted in the study, namely : Islamic Leadership, Financial Compensation, Islamic Work Ethic and Employee Performance. The questionnaires distributed were the closed ones with Likert Scales ranging from 1 to 5. The results of the analysis showed the following findings. Islamic Leadership to the Islamic Work Ethics significantly and positively affected the Performance of business unit managed by pesantren . The effect of Islamic Leadership to the Employee Commitment significantly and positively affected the Performance of business unit managed by pesantren. The effect of Financial Compensation to the Islamic Work Ethic significantly and positively the Performance of business unit managed by pesantren. The effect of Financial Compensation to the Employee Commitment significantly and affected the Performance of business unit managed by pesantren. The effect of Islamic Works Ethic to the Employee Commitment significantly affected the Performance of business unit managed by pesantren. The effect of Islamic Work Ethic to the Employee Performance significantly affected the Performance of business unit managed by pesantren. The effect of Employee Commitment to the Employee Performance significantly affected the Performance of business unit managed by pesantren. Integratively, it was conclusive that quantitative Islamic Leadership and Financial Compensation was affeted employee performance throughIslamic work ethic and employee commitment in business unit that managed by pesantren in East Java Province. An enhancement of human resources and profesionalism of employee was qualitatively (syar’i) and intuitively (kasyf) on demand.
